20 weeks

How far along: December marks the half way point in my pregnancy - OMGOSH we're halfway there to meeting my little miracle of a son! <3 20 weeks

Maternity clothes: Again, yes. Yes, I am. The bump is in full effect, as you can see. It's finally looking more round rather than that frumpy B shape it was for a LONG time.

Stretch marks: Negative.

Sleep: Hit or miss. Sometimes I sleep through the night, other times, I'm up twice peeing. I'm pretty sure baby is currently sitting right on my bladder because I can never seem to fully empty.


Best moment this week: Time off. Ahh, we had some family in town and I enjoyed 4 days of sleeping in and not having to worry about much of anything... except Thanksgiving dinner.

Movement: Stronger and stronger ever day he is. Someday soon, Hubby will stop insisting he's too small to be moving that much and little man will kick him! I'm sure of it!

Food cravings: Dear God, Thank you for milk. Love, Jaime <3

Food aversions: Same.

Gender: There's a little boy who stole my heart... he's going to call me mommy :)

Labor pains: Nope. A few gas pains and definitely RLPs.

Belly Button in or out? In, but it is getting flatter I guess you could say.

What I miss: Looking cute. It's hard to look adorable

What I am looking forward to: Christmas. I'm almost through with shopping... just need to pick up a few more things. Hubby also bough my gift this week -- squeeee! -- a new camera! I'm so excited. He mentioned it to me, found it on sale, and bought it all within about 20 minutes. I guess he just needed me to say "um, yes I'm very anxious to take beautiful pictures of our son." I can't wait until it comes in the mail and Christmas will come early for me! :)

Weekly Wisdom: Every newborn is God's opinion that life should go on.

Milestones: BabyBoy is now the size of a cantaloupe. Really?! You're growing up much too fast. He's probably sucking his thumb (which is probably true because almost every time we see him on the u/s his hand is by his face) and listening to outside voices. All the more reason to sing to him every chance I get. <3

Dear sweet baby boy,

You're swimming up a storm in Mommys belly right now and I love it so much! Sometimes I wonder if you know that Mommy and Daddy both love you so much already. Because the love I have for you is so fulfilling, surely you must feel it in there. Or maybe you just love milk as much as I do. ;)
We are slowly starting to get ready for your arrival. There isn't any furniture left in your soon-to-be bedroom and Mommy is agonizing over paint colors and pictures before we get the big things in, like your beautiful crib and very own dresser. Of course, you'll be in our room for the first few months, but we plan to make this room as perfect as possible for you, our perfect little boy.

Please keep getting big and strong in there. And although we can't wait to meet you, please stay put until the spring!
