Maternity clothes: If you could wear elastic waist bands 24/7, wouldn't you, too??
Stretch marks: Negative. Is it the Curel? I guess the next couple of weeks will tell.
Sleep: Still pretty good... except I think I'm sort of cheating which I hope is not such a bad thing. I'm still about 50% on my tummy. Kind of like a side sleeping on the topish half of my body and turning down by my feet with one leg propped up on the side. Technically, not full on belly... and I am sleeping okay, so it can't be bad right?
Best moment this week: Little man gave his Daddy his first high five! Or maybe it was a low five really. I rolled over on Saturday morning at the same time I wake up during the week and BabyBoy was doing his little rolling and kicking morning thing. I've tried to get Hubby to feel baby more than a dozen times the past few weeks because his movements are really strong now. He kind of sighed because he insists that it's too early for him to feel it (has he been reading the books?!) But 2 seconds later he says... "Ummm, I felt that!" Yes, pumpkin. That's your son saying good morning. :)
Movement: See above. It's been all about little man moving and shaking in there this week. I woke up Tuesday morning after my husband came back from walking our dogs. He put his hand on my belly which was still cold from being outside and BabyBoy did about 8 kicks for him. whoa!! That was the start of a very busy day. I don't know what he was doing in there, but he was active pretty much all day long. I LOVE feeling him in there. I'm beginning to think I won't be one of those mommys who gets kicked in the ribs and lungs (which will be nice) because I'm pretty tall as it is and his kicks are still a good way below my belly button. I guess we'll see.
Food cravings: Mac and cheese.
Food aversions: Same. No onions, home cooked chicken, or mushrooms in this mommys immediate future. bleh.
Gender: Snips and snails, and puppy dog tails! That's what little boys are made of!
Labor pains: Not much for this week. Still have RLP when I stand up too quickly, but that's about it.
Belly Button in or out? In definitely. I wonder if it will even pop. I'm a big girl after all. It's just really wide at this point.
What I miss: Nothing really. I'm enjoying BabyBoys kicks and tumbles and starting to really make some serious plans for his arrival like registry and nursery planning. Life is good in 2nd Tri. :)
What I am looking forward to: Definitely Christmas. This will probably be the standard for the next few weeks. Get used to it.
Weekly Wisdom: Mothers of boys work from son-up to son-down! <3
Milestones: Handsome little man is the size of a banana. The fruit references slow down after this point. He's mostly practicing swallowing and digestion for when he's here with me. Baby can now taste foods. Yay! Meaning I should really know if he likes milk as much as I have been over the next few weeks.
Eat everything you can....I firmly believe because I did, I didn't have picky eaters....
